Ancient people built amazing and dazzling structures. The populus of Sumer was extremely adept builders. They constructed multi-level temples called ziggurats, which were highly advanced for their time. Revering their pharaohs, the Egyptians created towering pyramids for them. Whereas the Greeks fashioned incredible statues and monuments for their gods, the Romans crafted the Colosseum which could hold 50,000 civilians. Proudly adorned with blue and yellow creatures, the babylonians had the stunning Ishtar Gate. The early world was filled with great wonders.
